Who issues these certificates?

Ozcanium Analytics, an independent Australian laboratory. Tested Peptides runs no analysis of its own and issues no certificates: each document here is the laboratory’s Certificate of Analysis, published as issued rather than summarised or sent on request.

What does the purity figure on a certificate mean?

The purity certificate is run by UPLC-MS/MS. Chromatography separates what is in the vial and the purity figure is the main peak’s area as a percentage of all integrated peak area, so every smaller peak in the laboratory’s peak list is an impurity. Mass spectrometry on the same run confirms the compound’s identity — that the main peak is the compound named on the label rather than something of similar purity.

What does the endotoxin certificate measure?

Bacterial endotoxin, by the LAL method, reported in endotoxin units per vial. Endotoxins are fragments of bacterial cell wall; they are not removed by sterilisation and they interfere with cell-culture work at very low concentrations, which is why they are measured separately from purity. A result written with a “<” means the sample sat below the reportable limit at the dilution tested.

How do I check a certificate is genuine?

Each certificate carries the laboratory’s own verification code, printed beside the document on the compound’s page. Entered in the Ozcanium Analytics verification portal, the code confirms the document against the laboratory’s records rather than ours — which is the entire reason a code is published alongside it.

Does a certificate cover the vial I have?

A certificate reports the lot the laboratory tested, and that lot number is printed on the document and on the compound’s page. Testing is commissioned per compound and repeated periodically, with the current certificate replacing the last — so it is the most recent independent result for that compound, not a test of every lot sold.

What these certificates report

Each certificate is Ozcanium Analytics’ analysis of one lot of one compound, named on the document. It is commissioned per compound rather than per size, because every size is the same product filled into different vials, and it is repeated periodically — the current certificate replaces the last, so this library holds the most recent result for each compound rather than an archive.
